Some spending fun.
I am so excited about the awesome deals I found for Joshua. I have been looking for a blessing outfit and to find this for so cheap. Pants, shirt, vest, and this hat. I also bought this shirt for all the boys. I bought it in a bigger size so they could were it this winter. All of this cost me around $40. I went through the babies clothes a few day ago and Joseph and Joshua are opposite seasons so all of my newborn clothes are sweatshirts and track suits. I don't want to buy to much before my shower but some things are to cute for me to pass up. Like this shirt and pants. I have not bought it yet but look how cute they are. $20 is a lot to me for a baby outfit but this would be such a cute take home and picture outfit. I did buy some stuff from motherhood today a skirt, some basic denim capris, and shirt. I also bought some bermuda shorts from jcpenny for $8. What a bargain shopper I am. Happy birthday to me.

Thoughts of the day
Just a cute little thing to share. This morning Ryan let me sleep in. I haven't been sleeping to well. He got the kids breakfast and even started to read scriptures with them. After I showered I sat down to eat breakfast. Joseph joined me and said "Some?" So I started to share with him. I then asked him, "Didn't you already eat breakfast?" He said, "Hungry." Me, "Your still hungry?" Him, "Umhum." I know it is a little thing but it is so fun once they start having conversations with me.
Then Joshua kicked me really hard so I put my hand to my stomach. Joseph then touched my tummy and said, "ouie?" What a cute little buy he is turning into.
He has also entered the twos and will throw himself on the ground when he is sad. It is so funny.
I gave my friend Shannon this great advice a little while ago and I realized I need to take my own advice. I have been so reactive to Sarah. She has been kind of naughty lately and I realized I was starting to wonder if she would always have a temper like what she has been displaying. I would react so quickly and I realize now that I was just adding fuel to the fire. I sure hope I can figure things out with her. I know what I need to do I just need the strength to do so.

Jared's special day.
I have a ton of Easter pictures I want to upload but I think I will make a couple Easter pages and then upload that.
This picture is not the best but can I tell you how happy this entertainment center makes me. Ryan's parents gave it to us when they moved into their new house a few years ago. Two of the doors had been broken off one too many times and the glass was missing on another door. It has been sitting in our garage waiting for a fresh coat of paint. Last week when I organized my house I bought these baskets at walmart to put the videos in. For some reason that excited my husband to paint it and now my house is one step closer to what I want it to be.
So much to write, so little time. I guess I will have to save more stories for later.
Today we went on a field trip with Jared. His class went to the wildlife museum and then to the park to have lunch. Jared was so cute with his little sister. He held her hand and let her stay with him the whole time. As Joseph saw the animals he got so excited. "ohhh, ohhhh" Then he would growl if the animals had big teeth. My favorite part was when we saw a leopard biting a deer and Joseph said, "paing (playing), silly" With a chuckle in there. He just thought they were having a grand time with each other. The other way cute part was when we saw the elephants and he tried to make the noise. I have this strange talent of being able to make an elephant noise and the kids are always trying to mimic it. Best of friends. It was time to go home and Emma was trying to help me get Joseph to the car. It only took us about 20 minutes to finally get there. Joseph kept stopping to pick flowers and play in the dirt. Emma was doing gymnastics and sitting on the ground. I let them take their time. It was either that or pick them both up which I did not want to do 7 months pregnant.
Jared and his friend Weston.
Can I tell you how proud I am of Jared. He won 2nd place in the science fair. It was the 2nd and 3rd graders and he still won 2nd place. What the judges don't know is that he did the whole thing in one night. It was kind of ridiculous of the school. They didn't send the papers home about the fair until two days before all of the stuff was due. Ryan helped him, without doing the whole thing for him. His teacher said the reason he did so good was because of his presentation and his understanding of his project. How cool is that.
My mom wanted to buy the baby something and she asked me what I wanted. I have always wanted one of these to rock my babies in. I have my rocking chair from when I was a baby but the kids would always manage to bang the wall with it so this makes me very excited. The kids keep going into the nursery to play on it and I don't worry at all. Your the best Mom.

I made this LO with my sister to show her how to digi scrap. She bought photo shop and I am so excited for her to join me in this new addiction.
I saw a LO with a circle of flowers around a picture and I loved it. I tried to do that and I am not so sure I like it.So much to write, so little time. I guess I will have to save more stories for later.

Random Samplings
I have been so bad about updating. I hope that I will remember all that I thought about writing.
Joseph has definitely entered into the twos. Only the good stuff though. He has so much energy and will actually run around in circles and laugh. He has such a sweet disposition that when he actually does cry for more then a few seconds I worry. He is talking so much and I am finally able to understand most of what he says. Some of my favorite Joseph words are...
shud it=dropped it, uh you=love you, Sarall=Cereal, suse me=excuse me, sess you=bless you, elcom=you're welcome. He actually uses his polite words whenever it is appropriate and I love his good manners.
He is very concerned about order and insists on putting trash away. He also wants to make sure that everything is put in its proper place. I can only hope that he will carry this forward and be my neat child.
I finished the babies blanket and I love it. I actually didn't finish it Ryan's Sister Hope did and I am so grateful for that. I am excited to put his room together and I hope to do it by next week. I am nesting and have this great need for organization. I am trying to organize everything so that I can way cut back on the cleaning and recleaning of junk.
update....
I have gone through almost every cupboard and thrown out stuff we don't use. I have organized the kids closets and even labeled where everything goes. I took pictures of what goes inside every container so that they know in a glance where to put it, Thanks to my SIL Sarah for that idea. It feels so good. I am afraid to tackle a few areas like my book closet and underneath the bathroom sink. But other then that I keep finding new areas to clean. Nesting is great.
The kids and I were folding clothes yesterday. Sarah said something and I responded, "You shouldn't do that." She said, "But you could" Me, "Yeah but you shouldn't." Sarah, "But you could!" So then I start to tell her things you could do but shouldn't ending with, "You could run outside naked but you shouldn't." Her response, "Yeah because you might get stung by a bee."
LOL We all had a good laugh about that one.
I moved the boys into what was the guest room. It is bigger then their room and it is closer to mine so I am going to turn it into the nursery. Joseph is still not sure about the toddler bed and only sleeps in it about 1/3 of the time. Yesterday Ryan's brother was here and he helped him move the furniture around. The only thing in the new nursery is the crib and a few things still left on the wall. We had a babysitter last night so he ended up in the crib while Jared got to sleep in his new room. Around 3 in the morning Jared wakes up screaming for me. It was so sad. I thought he had a nightmare. It turns out he couldn't find the door handle. This is one of those things that just made me laugh. Have you ever slept somewhere and woke up in the middle of the night not sure where you are? Or taken a nap to close to sunrise and woken up in the dark all confused? I related and was so glad that was all it was.
The kids and I made Easter cookies today. Joseph loves to help when we do stuff like this but he doesn't really like to eat the end product. Kind of funny to me. He will eat the candies and frosting along the way but won't eat the cookie.
So Emma has stopped pulling her hair out and sucking her thumb for some time now. She has decided to pick up a new habit. She sucks her hair. It is gross to me and it makes her hair all crusty. I am not sure if I should cut her hair so she can't or just keep gently reminding her to stop.

Sweet girls
We are visiting Ryan's family this weekend.
Today while we were at Grandma's Emma came up to me with two gummy bear vitamins. She asked if it was ok for her to have. I said it was fine if it was ok with Grandma and she told me Grandma had sent her to ask me. At this point Joseph realized what she had. I asked her if she would give Joseph one. She then proceeded to put them to her mouth. Then Sarah said to her, "Emma, what would Jesus do? He would give them both to Joseph. Then he would go get some more." I love these girls.

My Grandma
I got this paper free thanks to idea from Shannon and I am grateful. It is one of my Favorites so far.We got to visit with my Grandma this weekend. We asked her all kinds of questions and she shared with us a brief history of her life. We recorded it and I hope to get it transcribed soon. The kids were so cute with her and had all kinds of questions for her. When we were at her house I showed them some of the things I knew my Grandma had made. Emma told my Dad, "Grandma makes nice things" I have so much to write but I will have to do it when the kids go to bed.
